Objective:To systematically evaluate the association between Protein C and Legg-CalvePerthes Disease. Methods: A literature search was performed through Pubmed,Embase,Cochrane library, Web of science,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and Wanfang Database from inception to February 2016 on the association between Protein C and Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease.According to the NOS criteria evaluated the quality of studies AND extracted data.Meta-analysis was performed with software Stata 11.0.Results: Fourteen articles were included. The results of Meta-analysis showed that there is no significant difference in Protein C levels between patients group and the control group(OR=1.13,95%CI(0.67,1.91),P=0.147);There is no significant difference in Protein C levels between White skin patients group and the control group( RR=1.41,95%CI(1.56,4.52),P=0.886);There is no significant difference in Protein C levels between Yellow skin patients group and the control group(RR= 1.41,95%CI(0.13,0.97),P=0.080).Conclusion: There is no significant Correlation between Protein C and Legg-CalvePerthes Disease, but it is not exclude the possibility that is affected by sample size, disease type, and age factors.
