| Medical electron linear accelerator is a currently the most widely used medical equipment, which is largely and aims to treat tumor’s radiation therapy. By Survey research of medical electron linear accelerator for the Jiang Xi Province, including the configuration and distribution of medical electron linear accelerators, protective performance and protective effect of in the radiation workplace, security system of the medical institutions and the basic situation of radiation staff surveys and individual cumulative radiation dose monitoring, and so on, to make the province’s health resources to get reasonable utilization, and to safeguard equipments’safety management and operation, while, safeguarding the health of the radiotherapy staff, cancer patients and the surrounding public, and promoting virtuous development of the work of for radiation therapy in our province, improving our medical radiation levels,and with a view to better health services for the people of our province.The main research and method:Setting, writing questionnaire, and through on-site or by telephone and mail surveys is to complete questionnaires, The questionnaire includes basic information and other basic parameters on medical electron linear accelerator, security systems and radiotherapy staff’s conditions, and we also go on-site field testing the protective properties of medical electron linear accelerator, using EXCEL, SPSS19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis to survey data and obtain results.Results:1. Current situation of configuration distribution for medical electron linear accelerator of the province is extremely unreasonable, and does not meet the configuration requirements of the World Health Organization.2. Radiological protection level of medical electron linear accelerator in our province is up to the national radiological protection standards overall, which includes protective performance testing of medical electron linear accelerator, protection detects of radiation workplace, individual cumulative effective doses of radiation staff and room’s monitoring security systems.Suggestions:1.Under the premise of full use of existing resources, Health Administrative Departments should strengthen the medical electron linear accelerators’configuration management, to avoid wastes of the health resources and improve the overall radiation therapy level in our province.2. The government should courage talents introduction and increase capital investment for the medical electron linear accelerator’s technology innovation.3. Establish and improve the radiological protection management system, enhance quality control of medical electron linear accelerator and personal dose monitoring, knowledge training of radiological protection for radiotherapy staff, in order to improve the management level in general. |
