Objective: to study the value of tumor markers(CEA, CA199, CA724) joint detection in the advanced gastric carcinoma neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect evaluationMethods: collect 60 cases of advanced gastric carcinoma patients treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy in gastrointestinal surgery of Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital from June 2014 to February 2016, in strict accordance with the standard of exclusion and recruitment. These cases include patients with gastric carcinoma in advanced ⅢB stage and ⅢC stage. Select patients’ venous blood before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Separate serum and uniformly detect the change level of tumor markers CEA in the serum, pancreas intestinal cancer antigen CA199, and gastric carcinoma antigen CA724 before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Based on pre and post neoadjuvant chemotherapy CT, postoperation pathology and clinical symptoms to judge the chemotherapeutic effect, make comparative analysis on the change of tumor marker before and after gastric carcinoma neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and discuss the significance and clinical value of tumor markers(CEA, CA199, CA724) joint detection in the advanced gastric carcinoma neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect evaluation.Result: 1. after analysis on basic information of 60 patients, it finds that there is no statistical significance(P>0.05)if difference between patients age and gender and the neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect. 2. Tumor markers of CEA, CA199, and CA724 in patients evaluated with CR and PR before and after the change of clinic CT solid tumor chemotherapy have significantly reduced after three periods of completing gastric carcinoma neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The difference has statistical significance(P<0.05). The detection level of tumor markers of CEA, CA199, and CA724 in patients with clinical effect of SD before neoadjuvant chemotherapy has no change difference compared with after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05). The detection results of tumor markers of CEA, CA199, and CA724 in patients with PD before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy have obviously increased compared with pre-chemotherapy. The difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion: Tumor markers(CEA, CA199, CA724) can reflect the index of gastric carcinoma neoadjuvant chemotherapy and especially accurate in jointly detection.
