Research On The Western Medical Ethics In Modern Times

The contradiction and medical disputes between doctors and patients, which has become a very prominent and hot social problem nowadays. The tension between doctors and patients, to a great extent is caused by that the medical effect has not reached the expected requirements, besides social reform, economic transformation and medical demands which is growing greatly. Medical effect not only relays on the medical technology and equipment, but also closely relates to the medical ethics of medical staff. Therefore, in the request of medical technology progress, we need to promote the spirit of medical humanities and improve the level of medical ethics. Modern medicine was originated from the west, especially in the modern times. The rapid development of the western society has led to the development of the whole world medical career, which also gave the medical ethics new vitality, so that it shines with the light of human nature and reason. This paper synthesized history, culture science, management science and other disciplines to analyze the evolution of modern western ethics in modern times and its cause and characteristics from social, cultural, scientific and technological aspects, which further enriched the Chinese medical theory and innovate research ideas. In the thesis, firstly through the comparison of Chinese traditional medical ethics and western medical ethics in modern times, which showed similarities and differences between them, it was helpful to construct medical ethics in China; Secondly, the influence from the evolution of western medical ethics in modern times and its characteristics to moral education in Chinese medical universities and medical institutions was set forth. At last, it is expected that this thesis study of medical ethics in modern times can arouse the resonance from medical workers, who can consciously inherit and carry forward medical ethnics, to unit people with the spirit of great medicine and the idea of healing the wounded and rescuing the dying to vigorously promote the construction of a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients in China.
