| Object: To explore the correlation between visfatin and interleukin-6(IL-6) levels in umbilical cord blood and neonatal asphyxia, and to explore the correlation of visfatin and interleukin-6(IL-6) levels in umbilical cord blood and Apgar score. Methods: From July 2014 to June 2015, 72 cases of new born babys in cesarean section in department of obstetrics of our hospital were collected, including 30 cases of normal group, 28 cases of mild asphyxia group, 14 cases of severe asphyxia group.Collection of umbilical artery blood 3ml of newborn infants by Sterile vacuum blood collecting vessel without heat source, Standing at room temperature for half an hour later, 3000r/min centrifugal 10 min, serum 1ml packed in EP tubes, placed in the refrigerator to be retained-70℃.levels of visfatin and IL-6 in the serums were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).To compare the difference of the visfatin and IL-6 levels of umbilical cord blood in nomal group and different degree of asphyxia groups, and explore the correlation of visfatin and interleukin-6(IL-6)levels in umbilical cord blood and Apgar score.Make statistical analysis with SPSS17.0 statistical software.Measurement data is indicated with(`x±s),the multiple sets of mean were compared by one factor analysis of variance, enumeration data using chi square test, correlation analysis of the correlation between two variables with Pearson.Statistical processing for bilateral test, test level of a= 0.05 has statistical significance.Results:1.The visfatin levels of umbilical cord blood in asphyxia group(6.92±0.38ã€5.07±0.30(ng/ml)) are significantly higher than those in normal group(4.03±0.30(ng/ml))(P<0.05);there are statistical significance in visfatin levels of umbilical cord blood among different degrees of asphyxia(P < 0.05), and the more severe the degree of asphyxia, the higher the visfatin levels of umbilical cord blood.2.The IL-6 levels of umbilical cord blood in asphyxia group(13.98±0.30ã€8.08±0.21(ng/ml))are significantly higher than those in normal group(3.99±0.18(ng/ml))(P<0.001);there are statistical significance in IL-6 levels of umbilical cord blood among different degrees of asphyxia(P < 0.001), and the more severe the degree of asphyxia, the higher the IL-6 levels of umbilical cord blood.3.the correlation of visfatin levels in umbilical cord blood and Apgar score : With the Apgar score decreasing, that is, the degree of asphyxia increasing, the visfatin levels of umbilical cord blood are increasing, they were negatively correlated( r=-0.64,P<0.001).4.the correlation of IL-6 levels in umbilical cord blood and Apgar score : With the Apgar score decreasing, that is, the degree of asphyxia increasing, the IL-6 levels of umbilical cord blood are increasing, they were negatively correlated( r=-0.916,P<0.001).5.the correlation of visfatin levels and IL-6 levels in umbilical cord blood : they were positivly correlated( r=0.547,P<0.001).Conclusion: Compared with the normal group, the levels of visfatin and IL-6 in umbilical cord blood of asphyxia group are significantly high, and the more severe the degree of asphyxia, the higher levels of visfatin and IL-6 in umbilical cord blood. With the Apgar score decreasing, that is, the degree of asphyxia increasing, the levels of visfatin and IL-6 in umbilical cord blood are increasing, they were negatively correlated with he Apgar score. The more severe the degree of asphyxia, the higher levels of visfatin and IL-6 in umbilical cord blood, which indicates that the levels of visfatin and IL-6 in umbilical cord blood can reflect the severity of neonatal asphyxia to a certain extent. |
