Simplified General Table, which was re-released in1986, is a significant achievement ofsimplification and classification of Chinese characters since the earlydays of foundation ofChina. Thethird part focuses on studies of prefix, namely on different use of prefix in the two dictionariesand problems that draws from the procedure in developing corresponding classical charactersof simplified character. The problem contents two concerns: one isthatsimplified characterscreate new prefix, the other is that dictionaries contents more traditional character than theSimplified General Table. The forth part of the study analyzes analogical simplified characterin dictionaries. Here specified three problems concerning this situation.1. The component ofChinese character is used solely as a character.2. The dictionaries exclude analogicallysimplified Chinese characters as well as its traditional versions.3. Some of the traditional versions of the analogical simplified characters are classified as variant Chinese character. The fifth part studies the differentparaphrases between simplified and traditional characters. Two categories of paraphrasing are listed under this column. They are one to one paraphrasingmodel and one to many paraphrasing model. The sixth part is conclusion, as the general discussion to the whole study. The differences on applications of both traditional and simplified between the twodictionary and Simplified General Table, are the adjustment after learning the relationshipbetween the traditional character and simplified character, and the choice depend onapplications of traditional character and circumstances of the two dictionaries.
