The poetry from Su Shi has a significant position in the history of Chineseclassical poetry. From the Song dynasty, there are voluminous research for theSu’s poetry, but the article mainly focus on the perspective of cognitive of Su’spoetry was really scarcity.Therefore, this article attempts to analyze Su’s poetryfrom the cognitive poetics of conceptual metaphor theory. This article is dividedinto four parts, The first chapter focuses on the study significance and researchsummary for this project.The second chapter fully summarizes the specific content of the Su’s poetry, andthen analyze the conceptual metaphor how to structure Su’s poetry through combiningthe theoretical of theconceptual metaphor, The third chapter will combine theconceptual metaphor theory with the artistic feature to analysis the express theemotion, the effect of language and textual coherence for Su’s poetry. The fourthchapter analyzes the characteristics of conceptual metaphor by combine the actualarticle of Su’s poetry.
