The Fictions Of University-a Discussion About NSAU Imaginations In Modern Novels

The research on university has become a hot spot in modern scholars. And the study about NSAU is also a typical case. In the NSAU narrative, there are some works of collecting data focused on restoring the NSAU history, also there are some articles based on the memory about NSAU and numerous researches. But these works mostly emphasize on the success of education,the freedom and democracy about the campus atmosphere in the NSAU and intellectuals’academic pursuit. Along with the interpretation on the NSAU, the NSAU legend also forms slowly. But through reading novels,I find out that not only the NSAU novels show us a vivid NSAU through daily description, also they provide us another possibility entering into the NSAU history. So the thesis mainly discusses how do the modern novels, that is "Wei-Yang-Ge""Chang-Ye", the series of Novels "Ye-Hu-Lu-Yin" and "Liu-Xing-Qun", affect the NSAU narration.The first chapter mainly makes a introduction about the NSAU, which shows how the NSAU established, developed and faded away. Moreover, this part will card the modern researches about NSAU. And then put forward this paper’s topic.The second part mainly introduces these four works.And the next two chapters have a most importance in the thesis. These two parts mainly analyze what the similarities and differences have been showed in these novels through text reading. Among them, these four works also describe the NSAU’s freedom and democracy in the campus atmosphere,a high-spirited state of students and teachers under the difficult material conditions, the harmonious relationship between NSAU and Yunnan local people. And there exist some differences about the images of teachers and students. Specifically, the images of students in "Wei-Yang-Ge" and "Liu-Xing-Qun" show an obvious difference. Moreover, the teachers’figures in "Chang-Ye" also different from the parts in the series of Novels "Ye-Hu-Lu-Yin"In the last part of the thesis, I try to discuss the value of the NSAU novels, this chapter mainly discusses how do the NSAU novels affect the NSAU research. On the one hand,through a humanized description, the NSAU novels show NSAU full of humanistic spirit. On the other hand, these four novels express different or more greatly NSAU images, which hint the richness and complexity of the NSAU history, which deconstructs the One-sided praise on the current NSAU research. And that teaches us how to read NSAU correctly and use the heritage of NSAU effectively.
