Shi Guangnan is an outstanding composer in the music field in New China. Hisachievements are mainly focused on the creation of folk music works,。Therefore, itis of great necessity for students in art director major to make studies on pianoaccompaniment creation of Shi Guangnan, so as to enhance their capability toanalyze and allocate piano accompaniment. The unique music style in ShiGuangnan`s piano accompaniment creation lies in two major aspects. One is thefoundation in ethnic traditions。 The other is the creative integration of westernmusic creation technique with the soul of Chinese folk music. This not onlyembodies the relatively high standard of piano accompaniment creation after thefoundation of New China, but also offers examples for reference for the modernpiano accompaniment creation. Therefore, research on Shi Guangnan`s creation hasa positive impact on the future creation of piano accompaniment to songs.Five chapters:Chapter One: Guangnan`s artistic life and aesthetic characteristics of his artisticcreation.Chapter Two: Ethnic feature in Shi Guangnan`s piano accompaniment,including five aspects such as ethnic harmony, ethnic music mode and form, ethnicrhythmic pattern, imitation of ethnic instruments and ethnic piano accompaniment tolining words.Chapter Three: Writing feature in Shi Guangnan`s piano accompaniment,including six aspects such as imitation of tone color in western instruments, textureof piano accompaniment, different patterns of the same texture, tonalitytransformation in piano accompaniment.Chapter Four: The contribution of Shi Guangnan`s piano accompaniment.Chapter Five: Enlightenment of Shi Guangnan`s piano accompaniment andresearch significance of this project.The creation feature of Shi Guangnan`s piano accompaniment isunprecedentedly adopted as the research object in this thesis. The author analyzes thecreation features of Shi Guangnan`s piano accompaniment from several aspects suchas ethnic creation feature, harmony, rhythm, lining words, tonality and writing oftexture in piano accompaniment, reference analysis and list analysis. The research isaimed at exploring the piano accompaniment in folk music and enhancing the artdirector`s capability to analyze works and allocate piano accompaniment.
