Characters are writing carrier of language Conducting a deep and detailedinvestigation of Yuelu Qin Bamboo Slips characters, havs important value andsignificance in promoting in-depth study of language, history and culture in Qindynasty. Based on the newly published Qin Bamboo Slips Collected by YueluAcademy Vol.3"(hereinafter referred as "Yuelu Qin Bamboo Slips Vol.3", this thesisCompiled the characters and studied them. The visual rendering characters font, helpsthe understanding of the words in Qin dynasty, in-depth discussion of the evolution ofChinese characters and rules, and provides more abundant reference glyph fo r makingcharactersual criticisms and explanations and configuration research.This paper is divided into two parts.The first part has three chapters, which is about the research on characters.In the exordium, we introduce the compilation and publicati on of Qin Bamboo SlipsCollected by Yuelu Academy Vol.3, review the Qin Bamboo Slips and Yuelu QinBamboo Slips Vol.3, and make clear meaning and research method of this paper. Thesecond chapter, taking the perspective of the origins of characters, whole styles, ofsource, the overall style, strokes and radicals, analyzes the characteristics of characterforms in Qin Bamboo Slips Collected by Yuelu Academy Vol.3. The third chaptermake a preliminary discussion of the characteristics and cause of formation of variantChinese characters.The second part is the characters collections. It has contains an exhaustedcollection of the characters in Qin Bamboo Slips Collected by Yuelu AcademyVol.3,including introduction, text, appendix and index of Chinese charac ters.
