A Study On Li Zehou’s Thought Of Musical And Aesthetic Culture

Li Zehou is one of construction of Chinese modern aesthetics and the development of traditional culture. He has studied a lot of thing about aesthetics and culture.Musical culture is one of important contribution of Li Zehou to Chinese aesthetics and culture study. In order to the theory integrity, and make Li Zehou idea of musical culture can be fully displayed, this paper would start research as the five follow asides:First, on the basis of introduction that Chinese idea about musicians, which discuss the origin of musician, the development of musical theory before Qin dynasty, the awareness and understanding of music during the Wei and Jin periods and Li Shimin understanding of music of the Tang Dynasty, come up with that Chinese traditional idea of musician is the basis of Li Zehou Musical culture theory.Second, this paper discuss the content of Musical culture.It include the tradition of the witchcraft and history, the musical theory construction of Confucian, the further developed process of Musical culture; and analyses three level of Musical culture. On the basis of contrast both content and different levels, the conclusion can be made that the key of Musical culture theory is people’s aesthetic emotion.Third, the study mainly analyzes the central of Musical culture theory:feeling noumenon. As start with, this part will analyzes the connotation of feeling noumenon; besides, compare the difference between feeling noumenon and Moral ontology; finally, compare the difference between feeling noumenon and Christian love.Fourth, as the destination of Musical culture theory,Li Zehou elucidated the view of "The union with the universe", which in relation to "Thing in itself. Through this, Musical culture theory discusses the relation between man and nature, and realizes aesthetic sense of music culture can be make effect like various religion and aesthetic to be the first philosophy.Fifth, discusses the value of Li Zehou’s thought of musical culture. By analyzing Li’s understanding of music and its shortages, the conclusion that the purpose of thought of musical culture lies in the modernizing of traditional thought is drawn. On this basis, Li Zehou’s thought of musical culture is compared with that of Mou Zongsan, the representative of New Confucian. It is pointed out that the two are development of the different stages of the traditional thought. The thought of musical culture’s anesthetization of traditional culture and its criticism represents its development. Now that the culture is developing and the research is deepening, it has an important reference value.Through the above analysis, showing the musical culture in Li Zehou’s ideological system, the development process Chinese position of traditional culture, and finally to the understanding and thinking of musical culture, to provide inspiration for further research showed China culture development and modernity.
