| In the field of teaching Chinese language, one teacher teaches one student is namedof One to One teaching Chinese as a foreign language. That means teacher must fullyknow about student’s status, the study purpose and requires. After that the teacher coulddesire and carry out the method of teaching language. The empathy in teaching languageneeds the teacher to think about the problems and to realize feelings in the student’sposition. Empathy activities in this method will be increase conversations betweenteacher and student. What’s more, teacher will be more understand about the student. Italso will promote efficiency and more effective. Author combines with empathy and Oneto One teaching Chinese as a foreign language to research for some problems ofEmpathy theory is applied to One to One teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Andalso show the application in actual teaching by the teaching case and some situations thatwe have to think about. Author wish in future this study will be researched and used inreal teaching method.This paper have four parts. First section is introduce. It talks about the backgroundof the researching status, the reason to study this field and the study purpose. There arealso some ways and logic in study. Fist chapter makes an analysis about One to Oneteaching Chinese as a foreign language’s basic characteristics and feature analysis.Second chapter writes for how can we use this kind of theory in One to One teachingChinese as a foreign language. About some requisites of empathy in languagecommunication and language study, and value about empathy to One to One teachingChinese as a foreign language. And this features and effect will be debate to this theory’svalue. Third chapter is throughout author’s experience about empathy to One to Oneteaching Chinese as a foreign language write some questions and answer, and also somesuggestion. It will be know about how can we use this theory to teaching language. Thistheory show us how to use the empathy in teaching language. The author proves thistheory in this teaching mode in teaching Chinese as a foreign language method.
