Recently, teaching Chinese as a foreign language has been influenced by western second language-teaching method, especially Audio-lingual Method. Under the second-language teaching’s background, the author explored and discussed the application of Audio-lingual Method in second-language teaching.This paper is divided into four parts:On the instruction part, the author expounded the background、the purpose and the signification of this paper, also mentioned the research’s method.Chapter one is the literature summary part. The author summarized relevant researches about Audio-lingual Method in second-language teaching, such as English teaching and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Chapter two is the theoretic knowledge of Audio-lingual Method. The author introduced the characteristics of the Audio-lingual Method, analyzed its teaching process and stated its task designs.Chapter three is the preparation of the teaching design “It’s my treat today”. In the teaching design the author introduced the teaching analysis and illustrated the design of teaching strategies.Chapter four is the implementation of “It’s my treat today”. The author analyzed the application of teaching process and teaching theory and threw out the strategies of teaching method.The last part is conclusion of this paper. The author summarized the results of the research, and introduced the innovations and the weakness of the paper.
