The form of Chinese modern drama, was in the Political crisis of modernsemi-feudal society and under the background of the opera reform, had a long historyof evolution to be able to generate. In the gradual evolution of the course, a variety oftheatrical forms appeared, including new drama of early civilizations and fashionshows, but also the height of the May Fourth period drama and revival national operadrama and beauty, as well as drama war and defense since the1930s. The progressivereplacement of the form, was both Chinese drama continued generation andimprovement process, was also the drama of this exotic process of gradualnationalization. From the later Qing Dynasty to the present, from ChenJitong’Chinese people’ drama to Xu Muyun’ the history of theater,Chen Duxiu’On the opera, and Wang Guowei’s the opera history of Song and Yuan, and so on,many detabes of “New Youth”magazine’s in May Fourth period, until Dong Jian,Chen Baichen, and Tian Benxiang and a number of researchers at present. From thenon, drama was receiving unprecedented attention, and as an important pole ofModern Chinese literature showing the unique value. After understanding how theopera transforms to in the form of modern drama, will understand the formation ofnational drama,it can be literature,in particular the dramatic form of rheology as anobjective and historical narrative."Exotic" drama to opera as the representative ofChinese classical opera and come from behind, still vibrant in contemporary and hasmore viewers, is an important part of literary studies. Since a long time, most of thedrama and theater researcher thought they are two distinct dramatic form, do someindependent study and research, but scarcely unified research between drama andtheater in the same visual field, comparative studies related to the drama is less how tocomplete the evolution of the interaction with the drama of the facts set forth specific.I do not intend to pick in previous studies of other theater history, is not entirelyfocused on relatively old drama school and gusts, but to try to take an objective historical data, return to historical reality, to find a new historical context of theevolution of dramatic form, to tease out the various there have been dramatic form, and explore in all theatrical drama played out in the form of the unique role. At thesame time, find out the drama in the transformation process, and how to influence theopera, so that both produce results in perfect harmony. To solve this problem, notonly can make the evolution of contemporary opera history, but also on how to reformthe current drama, how to explore new theatrical forms provides positive and usefulreference. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. In the first chapter historical contextof drama and theater in the form of improved generation is written.Social andpolitical crisis in the late Qing Dynasty, occurs an opportunity for improvement, thedevelopment of new classes and strata and new cities, created the conditions forimprovement, so, under the influence of Western thought, and finally unexpectedimprovement was coming. The second chapter wrote occurring of the dramaimprovement process during the late Qing Dynasty, when we understand the originsand characteristics of classical opera systems, when we can have a better understandthe reasons for improvement, but also have a profound insight on improved theplace. After specific comprehending and experience for the incompleteness of theentire reform, we can find out the reason for the deepening reform in May Fourthperiod. Chapter III wrote that mature and perfect of plays, after the late Qing dramaimprovement, improvement of the May Fourth period and set off the climax, reallythought-provoking, and slowly overcomes the legacy of the late Qing Dynasty operadrawbacks, in the same time dramatic form has become more complete, the mainfactors of drama, such as music, tragedy, also has made significant changes in the truesense, is already mature modern theater was born, but improvement occurred duringthe drawbacks of overkill, being criticized. Chapter IV also explore forms of writingdrama does not end, but with the deepening of history, the emergence of newtheatrical forms, in order to achieve dramatic resurgence, drama and beauty ofChinese opera movement emerged to form into a modern theater Fountainhead, enriching the dramatic form. Not only for solidarity with the war, also appeared in the form of drama of war and defense, become a transition state to modern theatercontemporary theater.
