Cantonese opera,also known as "Guangdong Opera".Early vocal music and repertoire came from the "Wai Jiang Ban".After completing the localization process in the early twentieth century,has formed the distinct local characteristic.In the 1930 s,two major performance centers were formed in Hong Kong and Guangzhou.After the social changes in Guangzhou in the 1950 s and 1960 s,people have a new understanding of Cantonese opera,promoting the development of Cantonese opera art towards inheriting tradition and striving for perfection.This article takes "Search Academy "," Guan Hanqing" and "Shanxiang Fengyun" as the basic research object,studying on the Form of Cantonese Opera in Guangzhou in the 1950 s and 1960 s,attempting to sum up the characters of Cantonese opera in script form,music form and performance form during this period,to explore its aesthetic value and internal causes.The first chapter combs the development of Cantonese opera in the 20 th century,The second,third and fourth chapters study the morphological characteristics of the three plays from the perspective of script,music and performance respectively,induced the characteristics of the character,language,singing,reading,accompaniment,performance.Through comparison with the period before and after,highlighting the artistic value of Cantonese opera in this period and its specific reference significance for later generations.The conclusion makes a further analysis and summary of the causes of Cantonese opera in this period,reflecting the future and destiny of traditional opera in the age of entertainment diversification.
