There were many first personal pronouns in Ancient Chinese, which have highfrequently used in that period is “Wo”(我)“Wu”(吾)“Yu”(余(予)“Zhen”(朕)“Ang”(卬)“Yi”(台).The first personal pronouns is one of the hot issues in Chineselanguage research, and the scholars pay more and more attention to this research.Some fruit of the study to the first person pronouns in Ancient Chinese which madefrom each aspect by some scholars. In order to get comprehensively andsystematically of the first personal pronouns of pre-Qin Chinese, using bothquantitative and qualitative statistics and syntactic, this paper analyzes thecomparative literature and historical documents unearthed, discuss the use of personalpronouns, syntactic function, number problems, emotional, use of time and otherissues, with a view of the first-person pronouns in pre-Qin Chinese have a morecomprehensive understanding.This text is divided into six parts totally. The first part is an introduction,introduced the results of the first-person pronouns studies in pre-Qin Chinese andsignificance and research methods are also described in this part. The main part of thearticle is the first chapter to chapter IV, the first chapter explores the personalpronouns and summary first personal pronouns in Ancient times. And other chaptersrespectively discussed syntactic functions, amount, frequency, the function ofcondescension or respect,the time character and so on. Summarizes thecharacteristics of each first personal pronouns, and it can reserve rich material for thepart of the first person pronouns in the Chinese grammar history.
