The Text Analysis Of "VzheVzhe"

"VzheVzhe" is a very common structure in Chinese,which usually used asexpressing continue things. There exists some problems in currentachievements,we will solve these problems in this text.The first question is how many continuous types in “VzheVzh，，e，and what isthe condition that allowing the verb enter into this structure? The answer to thisquestion focuses on chapter two. We through three angles to classify thecontinuous types of "VzheVzhe",and this three angles are continuity,dynamicsand the statement of continue. Among these angles,only interval,which belongsto continuity,that have not been research. Then we analyze the possibility offour modals entering "VzheVzhe’\and the four modals are state verbs,actionverbs,the end of the verbs,and achievement verbs. The conclusionsare:individual property in state verbs and single subject in achievement verbscan enter into "VzheVzhe’’.The second question is what are the coherence devices and the semanticrelations between former and later. We can find the answers in chapter three.There are two ways to coherence fonner,orie is dominant，another is recessive.The semantic relations also have two ways,one is background，another is object.And for the later,verb structure and lexical cohesions are common ways tocoherence "VzheVzhe" and later sentence.The semantic relations includecausality and time relationship.At last.according to topic and outlook/background in format ion，we analyze"VzheVzhe" sentence as a whole. And classif"y ’"VzheVzhe sentence as fourstyles:event-results,topic-resuIts.topic-timing,event-timing.[’here are four kindsof pragmatic functions, which including predicton, coherent ion, highlightthe focus and modal function.
