| After forcibly occupying Korea in1910, the Japanese empire implemented cruel fascist rule, politically deprived Koreans of democratic rights and violently plundered farmers’ land and the rights of farming economically. To make a living, large quantities of Koreans left their native place and successively moved to Northeast China with their family members. A substantial part of the Koreans who moved to the Northeast region were Korean revolutionaries apart from bankrupt farmers. The anti-Japanese struggles carried out by these patriots in the Northeast region had brought the national anti-Japanese movements of Korea to the highest climax. In a foreign region, the reason why the democratic movements of Koreans could take on such a situation was mainly because all of they joined the Chinese nationality apart from the sympathy taken by Chinese authorities for those who participated in independent movements. The naturalization of Koreans directly influenced the great event of China in the aspect of protecting its sovereignty. Considering that they needed to carry out independent movements within Chinese territory for a long time, those participating in independent movements took the lead to join the Chinese nationality, which earned the greatest friendliness and trust of Chinese authorities. China’s local authorities also tried every means to resist a variety of conspiracies of Japanese empire that attempted to take advantage of Chinese police to suppress the independent movements of Korea. However, Japanese empire used the anti-Japanese independent movements of Koreans in the Northeast region as an excuse many times and infringed on China’s sovereignty in the latter half of the1920s. Chinese authorities which were even unable to protect themselves could also not resist Japan, signed "Sanshi Agreement".with Governor General of Korea under the oppression of Japan, strengthened the regulation of the naturalization of Koreans and restricted the naturalization of Koreans while expelling and arresting those participating in independent movements, which shattered the dreams of many Koreans who wanted to join the Chinese nationality. As a whole, the naturalization of Koreans laid a foundation for those participating in independent movements to carry out independent movements in the Northeast region. Those participating in independent movements took the initiative to join the Chinese nationality, which pushed the naturalization of Koreans to a new high. Though the promotion of naturalization became a part of negative factors which impeded the naturalization of Koreans, there were still many positive aspects. |
