Modern Henan Folk Culture In Cultural Exchanges With Other Countries

Folk culture is developed by people living in various ecological environment,cultural society and psychological background. It is a culture with multiple forms andtypes of expression based on its transmission and evolution in a specific historicaldevelopment process. The folk culture exists to varying degree in countries all overthe world, and it is related to the endless historical process of human.The nationalmakings and the spirit of a country are usually epitomized freshly and specifically bythe folk culture. Also the cultural exchange among all countries inevitably involvesthe content of folk culture.In this day and age, with the close connection amongcountries, various kinds of folk cultures have achieved their development, and how todevelop and interchange the folk culture has ben an inevitable challenge. China is alarge nation with a long age of civilization and large amount of population, and theeconomy development and the self-improvement of political system enable Chinaachieve a dominant position in the world. As a multiple cultural nation, China cannotignore the importance of folk culture. In this age with high speed of economicglobalization，how to find and understand Chinese folk culture, how to foster andenhance its core value, will play a non replaceable role in internationalcommunication, and this is the original intention of this research. As the authorlives in the Central Plain, the general folk phenomenon in Central Plain can be easilyanalyzed to consider Henan folk culture with a broad and international view, and theauthor can seek for the folk culture application to the international communicationbased on these analysis. In this project, a better understanding of the present circumstance of Henan cultural exchange can be obtained through a survey about thefolk culture in Henan province. Some problems in the study was analyzed by theauthor and the aim of this research is to break through some bottlenecks in thecultural exchange and provide several new thinking and suggestions for theinternational cultural communication in Henan province.
