At all times and in all countries，it all exist the phenomenon of men performing women.In this paper，it through the research on the phenomenon of men played women performance，it extends the effective study of gender consciousness in art, it attempts to explain the mainidea of gender consciousness in art creation and acceptance. There are some researchdiscussion about men played women performing arts in china and abroad. But, the study ofthis problem，it’s more used the positivism method of verify the developing history on menplayed women，with the analysis of Anima and Animus in prototype theory. It is used theAesthetic psychology to analysis gender consciousness in the creators and recipients in theprocess of creation and reception of psychological process to illustrate the role of genderconsciousness, and it used empiricist approach to provide proof to this article. It is through theperspective of Cultural anthropology to explain the prototypal of women worshipping is thebasic type of men played women art. Gender consciousness is analysed in literature drama,painting, and music, and some new points are put forward.
