Xiao Hong is a unique writer in Chinese modern literature history, she creates the unique literary style, "Xiao Hong Style". The emergence of "Xiao Hong Style" not only is the result of Xiao Hong’literary talent, more from the stylistic consciousness of Xiao Hong. In this paper, I study of Xiao Hong’s literary creation from the perspective of stylistics, starting from Xiao Hong’s life experience, relying on Xiao Hong’s literary works. I try to have a comprehensive and systematic interpretation of Xiao Hong’s stylistic consciousness and the influence of the stylistic consciousness. I write this paper mainly from two dimensions, one is the stylistic consciousness of Xiao Hong, the second is the narrative characteristics under the influence of the stylistic consciousness. I write the paper mainly from three aspects:1.The highlights of the subject consciousness and the lyricism of Xiao Hong’s novels. Xiao Hong is called an autobiography and lyrical writer, her works has strong subjectivity. The subject consciousness I called is an attitude of narration that combined with the author’s thoughts and emotions, attitudes and values. In Xiao Hong’s works, we can find a clear lyric subject and a narrative subject, in her works, Xiao Hong integrates her deep life experience and feelings through the narrator. Xiao Hong has a ill-fated life, her life is full of suffering and lonely, so the subject consciousness of her works is mainly the consciousness of suffering and the sense of loneliness, it is embodied as a sense of alienation and desolate style in her works. Under the influence of the subject consciousness, Xiao Hong’s works shows strong lyricism. As the lyric novels in that time, Xiao Hong’s novels are autobiographical, but compared with these lyric novels, Xiao Hong’s novels are more experienital.2.The folk narration in the northeast and the folk of Xiao Hong’s novels. Xiao Hong has been constantly learning and exploring in the creation, she learns from the senior writers. She creates her own literary style on the basis of the predecessors. Since onto the road of literature, Xiao Hong is affected by other authors such as Xiao Jun, lu Xun. In novels’theme and value, Xiao Hong learns from the classical literature, it lets Xiao Hong’s novels show the times. But compared with other writers, Xiao Hong’s level of education is relatively low, and she grows up in the folk, so Xiao Hong’s literary creation is also affected by the folk literature in the northeast to a certain extent, this is mainly manifests in narrative. On the narrative perspective, Xiao Hong’s novels are greatly affected by the folk oral narration in the northeast, such as the free conversion of multiple perspectives, the narrative way .Learning from the folk lets Xiao Hong’s creation show the unique personality characteristics.3.The rhetorical consciousness and the language of Xiao Hong’s novels. Xiao Hong is sensitive to language,"Plain" is the biggest characteristic of Xiao Hong’s language. However, the language of Xiao Hong’s novels is not completely without carving . From the contrast of Xiao Hong’s language in her early work and later work, it can be seen that Xiao Hong has their own pursuit of the literary language. She has conscious rhetorical consciousness .She pays attention to the the rhetoric of language in syntax, voice, she stresses the defamiliarization effect and the atmosphere of the language. With the sensitive to language and the exercise in language, the language of Xiao Hong’s novels is formed eventually that is natural and full of meaning.
