Kozen Hiroshi And His Studies Of Yu Xin

Kozen Hiroshi is well known as a Chinese literature scholar whose research field is focus on Chinese literature in Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties.His research includes both the study of Chinese ancient literary theory,such as Wen Xin Diao Long,Shi Ping, and the study of specific writers and works,such as Pan Yue,Lu Ji,Yu Xin,Xie Lingyun. Scholars in the field of sinology admire him due to his rigorous research attitude and abundant research results.Yu Xin is a excellent litterateur who lived in Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties,his works have been paid attention and discussed for thousands of years in China because of his special experience and outstanding literary creation.His works are also popular among sinologists,and Kozen Hiroshi is one of the early followers.Kozen Hiroshi paid his attention to Yu Xin mainly in 1980s,and there are two research perspectives:one is macro-perspective based on Yu Xin’s lifetime,the other is micro-perspective based on the special topics.This thesis expands from two aspects:Kozen Hiroshi and Yu Xin,to achieve the following three goals:Firstly,introduce Kozen Hiroshi and his research entirely;Secondly,investigate Kozen Hiroshi’s study of Yu Xin carefully,analyse Kozen Hiroshi’s main viewpoints,evaluate Kozen Hiroshi’s reserach objectively;Thirdly,discover the value of Kozen Hiroshi’s research through comparative study on other scholars’ points.This thesis’s main body consists of three parts.Part one introduce Kozen Hiroshi’s academic career,made up of himself,research results, research methods.Parts two and three elaborate Kozen Hiroshi’s study of Yu Xin concentratedly.Part two analyse Kozen Hiroshi’s main viewpoints from macro-perspective,part three analyse Kozen Hiroshi’s main viewpoints from micro-perspective.
