Women is the angel and god of protecting for men in Russian literature, who believe in Orthodox Church, so they dominated by primitive motherhood and the Orthodox doctrine on the attitude toward men. Meanwhile, Russian female are brave and self-sacrifice as men because of the hard and cold natural environment and frequent war in Russia.
