An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Creative Industry On The Economic Development Of Chongqing

The creative industry from generation to now just a dozen years, experienced a rapid development, however, the domestic and foreign theoretical research on creative industrylags far behind the development of practice, most of the existing studies on creative industry of intension and extension as well as its economic attributes, and relevant empirical studies are relatively rare, and specifically for the less empirical research area.From the social and economic development, the creative industry is a new industry form, is therepresentative of the new stage of economic development of the industry, this paper firstly discusses the connotation of creative industry from the regional economic development practice and extension of the definition, and analyzes the basic characteristics of the creative economy, creative industry is the core of the cultural and creative product category, belong to the spirit, it is precisely because of this, the creative industry has the characteristics of originality, strong permeability, high added value, strong radiation, high technology contentand so on. The multiple attributes of creative industries because of its impact on the economyis more complex, more important. Influence of the development of creative industry on the economy to increase its value lies not only in its, the transformation of economic development mode, transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the economic growth speed and quality and other aspects of great significance, in addit i on, al l r egi ons due t o t he di ffer ent soci al, economi c and cult ur al background, the development of creative industries also showed a huge difference, has its own unique development of creative industry in the region, is of more practical significance to study the development of creative industry area. The research object of this paper is the Chongqing creative industry, industry association and economic growth from the two aspects of the empirical analysis of the contribution of Chongqing creative industry on the economic development of Chongqing.This paper uses the input-output method, the industrial connection effect and spread effect of creative industry in Chongqing were quantitatively analyzed. The results of the study show that, Chongqing creative industry and many industries have a close relation between input and output, especially the manufacturing industry and knowledge intensive service industry with high technology. According to the demand of Chongqing creative industry center and intermediate input, the creative industry in Chongqing is the final consumption based industries, penetration effect on its downstream industry and its upstream industry driving ability was weak, does not have the ability to give full play to the creative industry itself strong permeability, Strong ability of appreciation and high radiation force, the creative industry in Chongqing is still there is a huge space for development in this area. In addition, the adverse effect of creative industry in Chongqing is significant, with as the pillar industry or leading industry to foster the conditions.On the economic growth, this paper uses the time series data of Chongqing creative industries, from the dynamic point of view, the empirical analysis of Chongqing creative industry actual contribution to the economic growth of Chongqing. The empirical results show that, the creative industry in Chongqing and Chongqing per capita GDP, total factor productivity, there is a long-term equilibrium relationship. Grainger Granger causality test show that, the short term there is a Chongqing creative industry of Chongqing per capita GDPone-way causal relationship, and the total factor productivity there is no causal relationship between Grainger, this may be the calculation of total factor productivity bias, measurement methods need to improve total factor productivity, further validation of the relationship with the creative industry. In general, the creative industry in Chongqing bigger dynamic effect on the economic growth of Chongqing, and has a certain degree of persistence. Therefore, in the formulation of the policy of industrial development, should pay attention to the long-term effect of creative industry in Chongqing.
