| Moral hypocrisy is the individual performance of the "morality" but if given the chance they will find ways to avoid paying the required course of action real charity action. As a part of the ethical and moral hypocrisy in the field of psychology which study of moral judgments, more and more empirical research validate and extend and enrich the contents of moral hypocrisy.Studies have found that different emotions on moral hypocrisy will produce quite different effects, according to the moral judgment of dual-process theory that both emotional and cognitive impact of moral judgment. The cognitive load and emotional impact on moral hypocrisy whether Because of cognitive load plays a modulatory role in this effect,but the current experimental study of the lack of verification. In this study, two studies conducted to verify the issue. Study 1 investigated The modulatotory role of cognitive load on the effect of anger and moral hypocrisy.Study 2 investigated the modulatotory role of cognitive load on the efffect of guilt and moral hypocrisy. The results show that:(1) the subjects under Western cultural background similar to subjects in the context of Chinese culture and moral hypocrisy phenomenon also exists, which is consistent with the findings Tong et al., Showed that the moral hypocrisy of a cross-cultural consistency.(2) The different emotion can influence moral hypocrisy, this influence is regulated by cognitive load which by adjusting the intensity of the emotional to effect on moral hypocrisy; Specifically, anger under high cognitive load to eliminated moral hypocrisy, under the anger of low cognitive load increases moral hypocrisy; under the guilt of high cognitive load increased moral; under the guilt of low cognitive load decreased moral hypocrisy; under the neutral emotional of high cognitive load eliminated moral hypocrisy, under the neutral emotional of low cognitive load increased moral hypocrisy. |
