The Present Situation,Origin And Measures Of Historica And Cultural Heritage Protection In Changzhou

Tangible cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage are collectively named as historical and cultural heritage. These years, little attention has been paid to historical and cultural heritage protection in Changzhou. The reasons why it has not taken suitable measures to protect it are as follows: the rapid development of social economy, the competition of different interest groups, the lack of necessary protection rules and regulations, the ambiguity of responsibilities in relevant departments, the less propaganda of protection and mass participation, the shortage of capital and protection planning for some heritages, the little cooperation with surrounding cities and districts, and so on.To solve this problem, the key is to make scientific and rational protection measures, to coordinate the relationship between protection and development, to set up rules on protecting cultural heritage, and to clarify administrative responsibilities for relevant departments. Besides, it is necessary to make different protection plans after classification assessments for all historical and cultural heritages, and to perfect synthetic decision for protection. The establishment of diversified investment mechanism with the leadership of government and the participation of society and resident is also in need to protect historical and cultural heritage better in Changzhou.
