Nowadays, our country pay more and more attention to the state of secondary education,medium vocational students as a special group of high school students attracted the attentionof the education sector. Medium vocational students were not admitted by high schools, sothey select the secondary vocational and technical colleges, they not only face study pressurebut also face employment pressure. Compared with common high school students, mediumvocational students occur more problems in study, making friends and so on. Therefore, thisarticle regards medium vocational students as research subjects to reveal the influence of egoidentity, coping styles and social adaptation and discuss their relationship, thus to enrich therelative materials and offer reference for the theory and research of social adaptation.In the basis of the previous studies, this study measures511medium vocational studentsthrough EOM-EIS-2and so on, discusses the present situation and mutual relationship of egoidentity, coping styles and social adaptation. The main results of this study are as follows:1. Identity achievement, identity foreclosed and identity moratorium of ego identity havemultiple difference in grades, identity achievement has multiple difference in gender,identityachievement and identity foreclosed have multiple difference in origins of students;solving-problem, vent and endurance of coping styles have multiple difference in grades,solving-problem has multiple difference in origins of students, there is significant differencebetween child and Non-child in solving-problem and vent;social adaptation has multipledifference in origins of students.2. Identity achievement and identity foreclosed of ego identity have significant positivecorrelations with solving-problem; identity moratorium and identity diffusive have significantnegative correlations with solving-problem. Social adaptation has a significant positivecorrelation with solving-problem, fantasy and help-seeking. Social adaptation has asignificant positive correlation with identity achievement and identity foreclosed.3. Solving-problem has mediator effect between identity achievement and social adaptation;solving-problem has mediator effect between identity foreclosed and social adaptation.
