The frequent cross-border cooperation of artists and fashion brands cannot be ignoredany longer and become a way of exploring art itself in the present. So the subject ismuch frontier and full of practical significance. In order to research on the cross-bordercooperation systematically and pertinently, we should find the root cause of thisphenomenon first, and generalize its regular pattern by gathering and analyzing anumber of examples, then investigate its influence and effect on art, fashion and oursociety and era, and calculate the possibility of its future development.Under the background of consumption age, art is inevitably influenced byconsumerism and consumption culture. The globalization trend and some other powersimpel art to find a new way to expand its influence by having a good relationship withfashion. Established on gathering and analyzing a number of examples, we can studythe logic of its development from both side of art and fashion in a philosophical way.The cross-border cooperation is a form that be used to find a collection between art andsociety, and through which art can do creative work and express itself differently. At thesame time, we should be alert to some negative effects. Fashion can also influence artand our daily life, and we can understand the meaning and power of art from the pointof fashion. The cross-border cooperation of artists and fashion brands will continue tosurprise us with its expanding field and innovative forms and this paper will try topredict its possibility and the changing of artist’s identity by learning the most advancedtechnologies and ideological trends, and how this cooperation influences contemporarydesign.
