| To be an important part of the stakeholder groups in heritage site, local residents live in the heritage site chronically influenced by the economic impacts/the socio-cultural impacts/the environmental impacts of tourism straightway and intensively. Residents’ attitudes toward tourism impacts are closely related to Residents’attitudes toward tourism development. The purpose of this thesis is to develop residents’abilities of protecting the world cultural heritage and promoting sustainable tourism development, and at the same time, provide relevant departments with theoretical basis to work out countermeasures of tourism development.The thesis takes the world cultural heritage Site-Hongkeng Earth Building Complex of Yongding as a case, by adopting the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, basing on the sociological theories of Social Exchange Theory, Social Solidarity Theory, Emotional Solidarity Theory, study residents’attitudes toward the economic impacts/the socio-cultural impacts/the environmental impacts of tourism, analysis residents’different attitudes toward tourism impact with different sociodemographic characteristics. Basing on those results, the author works out the economic, sociocultural and environmental measures for heritage preservation and sustainable tourism development. Research conclusions indicate that, residents have strongest perception of positive tourism impacts and economic impacts of tourism; residents with different sociodemographic characteristics and form of social solidarity will influence residents’ attitudes toward tourism; pay attention to improve the level of residents’community participation in heritage protection and tourism development, will gain residents’support for the tourism development. |
