The cultural development of any country and national was all based on the traditional culture. In the development history of five thousand years of China, the traditional culture is very rich and splendid. It is an inexhaustible motive force for the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, the life and growth in nature unity. The Standards for Students as a bright pearl set the essence of traditional culture education in the Enlightenment of Confucian classics.The paper is based on the ideas of discovering problems, analyzing problems, and solving those problems. Firstly, it overviews the phenomenon of the absence of social etiquette and the manners, which mainly include narrow channels and lack of knowledge of etiquette education, the diversified choices of etiquette and lack of etiquette literacy from the students and teachers. This paper is mainly exploring reasons from three aspects: society, schools and families. In terms of social background, our country is in the period of social transition. The impact of cultural diversity and collision leads to the destruction of the different values and reconstruction, which make people have the contradiction between the sublation of traditional concepts and the understanding of new ideas. In terms of school education, on the one hand, there are omissions in the curriculum and the practice of etiquette education. On the other hand, the instructors itself also have some gaps on the etiquette of behaviors. In terms of family, parents care more about the children’s results rather than personal moral accomplishment. Secondly, the paper deeply analyzes the phenomenon of anomie etiquette, which includes filial piety education, moral education, behaviour education, and social education. Finally, this paper analyzes how to apply the etiquette education thought of Standards for Students with the principle of theory combined with the actual, which includes the strengthening of system construction. The implementation of the etiquette education should start from early childhood and strengthen the education of the youth. At the same time, we ought to use the educational experience of Confucian culture for reference to build a harmonious society. In all, the thoughts of etiquette education in Standards for Students play an important part of moral education. With a new era of ideological and moral education, it will have great significance to promoting the construction of a harmonious socialist society and the realization of the Chinese dream.
