| This paper is mainly a study of Thai students’ Chinese adjectives errors, theauthor, in accordance with collecting corpus during the teaching in Thailand, and onthe errors of predecessors’ study by analyzing and listing systematically, eventuallygroups into nine categories of error type. The paper firstly makes more detaileddescription and explanation, follows by detailed analyzing for gradual causes of errors,including students’ native language negative shift, excessive generalization for targetlanguage, acquisition strategy, the aspects of teachers’ teaching and materialscompiling, finally for the reason of producing these errors, proposes the ploy that isto be sure more suitable for Chinese teaching in Thailand, and is also to be discussedfrom three points of view as students, teachers and textbooks. Hoping not only to havesome help and enlightenment for Chinese adjective teaching in Thailand, but alsodesire to be able to fill some blank in the aspects of adjective teaching for Chinese asa second language teaching.This paper consists of five parts, the first part is the preface, the reason andsignificance of topic, research scope, and corpus source these three aspects aresimply summarized in this paper; the second part is study summary, respectively fromthe view of noumenon and Chinese as second language teaching to do research andgeneralize from predecessors research results, summarizing the focus of the Chineseadjective study and for Chinese research results errors limitations by the predecessors,to determine the scope of this paper. Based on research results of predecessors, to thepartial research limitations for further analysis and study;the third part is Chineseadjective errors type for Thai students, the author analyzes the corpus collected duringthe teaching in Thailand, lists it one by one and at last sorts out nine error types. Inthis chapter, the author respectively makes a detailed description and analysis for these nine categories of errors;the fourth part is a cause analysis based on the thirdpart’s error type of describing analysis by students, teachers and teaching material,combined with the author’s practical teaching experience in Thailand, proposesappropriate teaching strategies in the aspects of students, teachers and teachingmaterial. Hoping these teaching methods may provide certain help for teachingChinese in Thailand; the fifth part is an end chapter and a summary of this paper. |
