| Painting work is the spirit supporter to painter. In process of art creation, it isinevitable for the painter to express his particular spiritual state and thinking and feelingthrough the painting form created by himself. Take the most debatable and creativeChinese painter in20thcentury, ShiLu as example, the connection and analysis betweenpainting form has been carried out in this paper. As the representative of “ChangAnSchool of Paintingâ€, in his short but up-and-down life, ShiLu had created artachievement with extreme individual features and spiritual connotation relying on hisoutstanding art talent and the unremitting pursuit for faith of “reality, kindness andbeauty†for art. Through the analysis on painting form and thought and thecorresponding means of artistic expression in ShiLu’s representative works, andcombined with effects caused by external factor such as social backgrounds, this paperexplores different spiritual factors such as though, feelings and appreciation of thebeauty presented at different periods of ShiLu. Through sorting, this paper concludesthat in his up-and-down life, ShiLu has always followed the Chinese freehandbrushwork concept of “painting depending on thoughtâ€,“depending on feelingsâ€, andreflect this freehand brushwork concept deeply in his painting style. Based on aboveknowledge, the author, combined his own thinking of real life in the new period, studiesthe value and meaning of ShiLu’s “freehand brushwork concept†under new culture andlanguage environment, and concludes that ShiLu has enlightened himself on the aspectsof personality spirit, artistic thought and artistic language based on his own creationpractice. |
