In 2005, a reality TV show named "super girl" of Hunan satellite TV created a sensation and let China to see the power of "fans". As the classic representative of consumer culture, "fans" is a cultural phenomenon which can not be ignored in the current. With the promotion of mass media and new media, fans culture formed and gradually commercialization,all types of fans consuming cultural commodity appeared as a result and promote the depth of penetration of the consumption culture in the China. This article choose the emergence of the domestic film market in the "fan of the movie" in 2011 as the research object, placing it in a new perspective of consumer culture.This paper consists of six parts: the first part introduces the research purpose and significance,comb the research status of "fan film". The second part studies consumer culture and the rise of fan film production, summarizes the definition and characteristics of "fan film". The third part interprets consumer culture of "fan film" from social, economic and cultural and summarizes the causes behind the phenomenon: the emergence and development of “fan film” have a strong color of consumerism and the tendency of consumerism it reflects is the essence. The fourth part analyses the subjectivity of " fan film" and concludes that this characteristic is essential distinction distinguished from other commercial movies. The fifth part presents a rational thinking of "fan film", summarizes the dispute and the positive significance,makes the critique of consumer culture, and concludes that "fan film" phenomenon shows that Chinese fans are losing their critical spiritt because of "loyalty" and they are facing the crisis of their faith and life...
