A Study On The Voice Of Shanxi Yanggao Dialect

Chose the dialect of Yanggao as the subject, this paper intends to present a comprehensive and analyzed record of the Phonology system of Yanggao Country,at the same time describes and analyzes some of the phonetic phenomenon.The paper consists of seven chapters.First, it offers an introduction of Yanggao Country historical evolution, geography and demographic profile,review of the research of Yanggao dialect and the significance of the topic,research methods, recorded signs and pronunciations.Then,introduce the Phonology system of Yanggao dialect. Include initial consonant, finalss, citation tone and retroflexed final.In the Third chapter, a chart is presented to show the coordination between initial consonant, finalss, and citation tone of Yanggao dialect.In the following chapters,through comparisons between the Phonology system of Yanggao dialect and Common Language, show some corresponding rules in initial consonant, finalss, and citation tone.Through comparisons between the Phonology system of Yanggao dialect and Mid-century Chinese, charts is presented to show some corresponding rules in initial consonant, finalss, and citation tone. The sixth chapter,Introduce plosive consonant ending and vowel or nasal ending characters in Yanggao dialect.The last chapter includes a list of homophones in the dialect,making an alphabet by finals of the monosyllabic.
