Since task-based teaching method produced in the 1980 s, Chinese scholars have been trying to apply it in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, but few relatively applied in practical teaching. Thus, task-based teaching method of class practice is also very necessary. In the task-based teaching in the class, thus increasing the opportunity of use Chinese and make students more extensive and learn Chinese in-depth, truly study Chinese in doing.Now take task-based teaching method applied in Chinese comprehensive course of Confucius institute of Burundi University as research content, take the Chinese textbooks used by Confucius institute of Burundi University, The great Wall I as the research basis. First of all, the author will know about teaching requirements of the Confucius institute of Burundi University, to analysis the background of task-based teaching method in Confucius institute of Burundi university; Secondly, show about teaching design of task-based teaching method about Chinese comprehensive course in Confucius institute of Burundi university, Finally, according to the application of ask-based teaching method in comprehensive course of Confucius institute of Burundi University put forward some suggestions.Through a study of task-based teaching method and applied to the teaching practice, it is first try of the Confucius institute of Burundi university, aims to make students truly study in doing, to learn more extensive knowledge of Chinese language, obtain better learning effect.
