The bronze ware of Chu is a very important part of China’s the pre-Qin bronze ware, the exquisite ornamentation, modelling vivid, exquisite craft, make later generations amazed. The bronze ware mading by the king of Chu represents the highest achievement of bronze making skills of each period. The analysis of the bronze ware mading by king of Chu can help us to have a more clear understand the production level, the origin and development, but also can help us to better understand the Chu economy, science and technology development level, social aesthetic orientation as well as the region cultural characteristic and so on.So far, as is found in the Duck-Chu bells and Ding-tripod for the bulk, including five pieces of Chu gong jia bell, nine pieces of Chu gong ni bell, a piece of Qiong zhong mi nan bell, a piece of Chu wang ling bell, one Sui zhong mi jia Ding-tripod, three pieces of Chu wang yin zhang bell, two pieces of Chu wang yin qian Ding-tripod and two pieces of Chu wang yin han Ding-tripod.Shape, grain and inscription are the three elements of bronze studies. This paper selects the Duck-Chu bells and Ding-tripod, and by comparison with the other nobles of Chu and other princes and nobles as monarch, that the Duck-Chu bells and Ding-tripod have obvious uniqueness in shape, grain and inscriptions, so the kings should have their own independent casting workshop. The workshop in order to timely meet the needs of the king, should be not far away from the capitals.Historically, Chu had moved the capital several times, according to "historical records" records, including the Danyang established by Xiongyi, the Ying established by Chu Wen king, the Ruo established by Chu Zhao king, the Chencheng established by Chu Qin xiang king to avoid war and the finally Shouchun established by Chu Kao lie king. There are a lot of controversy about the locations of the Chu capitals. The capitals’ location are not clear except Chencheng and ShouChun. In the Chu culture within the scope of Hubei, Anhui, Henan and Jiangxi, are found to have traces of the casting site. The Chu capital Ji NanCheng has the casting workshop handicraft industry sites. That allare likely to exist that there are the Chu kings’ independent casting workshops in the capitals.
