The Chinese frequency adverb is one of the modern Chinese adverbs.Even though not too many,the usage rate is very high. Due to the complexity of the Chinese frequency adverbs, and the similarity of their significance, usage between them, it is difficult for the second language learners who are the non-native Chinese speakers to learn the Chinese frequency adverbs. Errors may occur when they learn and use the words.So teaching the Chinese frequency adverbs is one of the most important language points when teaching Chinese as the second language. Under the guidance of the second language acquisition theory, we selected 10 frequency adverbs which were in common use, and chose the Thai speaking learners as the research object, and then researched the errors and the acquisition order of the 10 Chinese frequency adverbs for the Thai students. According it, we were going to analysis the reasons of errors so that could suggest for teaching the Chinese frequency adverbs.The paper consists of five chapters:The first chapter, introduced the reasons for this subject, indicated the object of study, the target of study, the theoretical significance and practical value. Then it introduced the theory which this paper based on,researched methods and Corpus sources as well. It presented the study on the modern Chinese frequency adverbs, and the researches on the frequency adverbs correlate to teaching Chinese as the second language.The second chapter, we explored the order of Chinese frequency adverbs’ acquisition of Thai students. We adopted three methods to count and verify that different research methods would draw the same conclusion. We got the order of the ten Chinese frequency adverbs’ acquisition of Thai students. Then we were going to test the feasibility of the order and the correlation of the result through the Chi-square test and the Coefficient of correlation.The third chapter, analysed the errors of the ten Chinese frequency adverbs’ acquisition of Thai students. Firstly we described the types of errors, analysed the incorrect sentences, and explained the reasons of the errors.The fourth chapter, according to the order of Chinese frequency adverbs’ acquisition of Thai students and the analysis of the errors, we were going to give some suggestions for the Chinese textbook compilation and teaching Chinese frequency adverbs in Thailand.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part. It summarized the research of this paper, and pointed out the shortages and some problems in this paper.
