The teaching materials are concentrated the reflection of teaching and learning. It is not only the teacher’s teaching material, but also students’ learning media. If there are no teaching materials, teaching activities can not be carried out.Nowadays, learner is increasing and the age of people who leaner tends to be lower year by year, as China from kids started learning English. Overseas learners are gradually extended to the basic education. There are many different from the physiological factors, cognitive factors and emotional factors between Children and adult, so it has certain particularity to write the textbooks. According to the current situation, the development of children’s foreign language textbook is face to the great opportunities. It has been paid attention by academic circles and made a lot of achievements. The number of textbooks is no longer as pressing danger, the quality of teaching is the key.In view of this, this paper selects two representative textbooks “Zhong Wen” and "Han Yu" as the object of study from the published children’s Chinese teaching material. From the external construction and internal contents are to effectively summarize and comparative research. The external construction is the most quickly understanding window of materials, include of the overall structure, the structure of the text, layout and illustrations. Through the contrast of this part, we can apparently see the different of the overall structure and editing idea of the two sets of textbooks. Then the comparison of internal written content is further thorough comparison of materials, include of Chinese characters, topic and practice. Through the comparison of a series of two sets of textbooks founded that the contents of two sets of textbooks are not the same if they have different editing idea. According to the spirit of abandoning its dross, select the essence, it tries to find out the deficiencies in teaching materials, and to puts forward some reasonable suggestions, in order to promote the development of construction and theory research of Chinese Textbooks of children.
