Take Asthma As An Example—Research And Discussion On Cross Media Creation Of Popularization Of Science For Children’s Chronic Diseases

In This paper takes asthma as an example, firstly analyzes popularization of science, then selects the media of popularization of science, analyzes characteristics as well as advantages and disadvantages of each medium, and discusses application of each kind of medium in the children’s medical popularization of science. Meanwhile, this paper combines with the domestic and foreign outstanding cases and studies how to transform complex medical knowledge into visual language that can be understood by children, thus truly realizing educating through entertainment, making the sick children easily understand general medical knowledge, enhancing the "compliance" with doctors’ advice, and changing from accepting treatment passively into taking the initiative to manage the state of the illness.This subject includes four parts. The first part mainly introduces the source, the research background and present situation of the subject and the research contents and significance, summarizing and analyzing the science of the relative present situation of children’s asthma medical treatment through documentary method. The second part takes asthma as an example and starts from the characteristics of chronic diseases, analyzing from the science point in terms of education of principles and psychological education.The third part is mainly about the multimedia research and application of children asthma science’s popularization, which analyses the four media of picture book, cartoon, game and app respectively.The article made an research and conclusion on each media’s characteristic and the differences among them, then discussed how to use each media’s characteristic better for science popularization combining the excellent cases from domestic and abroad and the design experience of the author himself on creating the science popularization of children’s asthma.The fourth part is the summary of the whole study and the prospect of the future’s popularizing career of children’s chronic illness.
