Adorno is the main representative of the Frankfurt School of modern aesthetics, the concept of modern music is very unique. The traditional view of the Marx doctrine that the characteristics of modern art with capitalism and not the real social suffering from Adorno Marx is different from the traditional aesthetics perspective of modern music and its social function, is the extension of the Marx doctrine an introduction to the study of Adorno’s aesthetic thought. In his book Music Society, a special chapter to discuss modern music, showing its heavy weight.The purpose of this paper is an introduction to sociology from Adorno Music text of carding and analysis of Adorno’s Modernist music thought from the angle of Sociology of music, to sort out the perplexing relationship. The main content of this paper is divided into introduction, the main part of the three chapter and conclusion, the main part of the three chapter is the three aspects of Adorno’s Modernist music thought: modern music is "rebel" spirit; internal rules of the modern music works with modern music; multiple difficulties. Through an introduction to sociology of Adorno’s Music review, the author found that the concept of modern music is mainly from these three aspects.Introduction, from the topic origin and the research actuality, research methods and innovations of the paper introduce Adorno’s life, thought development history and research status of hope can through the introduction so that readers can have a general understanding of this paper.From the modern music social function and Schoenberg deny the two new music significance to explain the modern music is the carrier of "rebellion" spirit. Among them, the negative function of modern music society, the author from the "difference" of reality and ideology rebellion two aspects of discourse; and about Schoenberg’s new music is from the musical form and content of two points to demonstrate the significance of its progress.Mainly through the dialectical unity of self-discipline and heteronomy of music, split and integrated music, music culture industry to stay away from these three aspects to demonstrate the modern music works is consistent with the inherent requirements of the current era, but from the art of progress.Focused on the plight of multiple modern music, is the main external environment- economy, rights, the authority of experts, the internal environment, the limitations of the pursuit of highly disciplined techniques, language barriers.
