A Study On The Paths And Measures Of Silk Road Cultural Communication:from A Perspective Of Inter-subjectivity

Building Silk Road economic belt and 21st century maritime Silk Road is an important strategy of our country in the new period. It has important significance for China, the countries along the Silk Road and other countries around the world. Xi Jinping pointed out that to better promote the construction of the Silk Road in the new era five kinds of communication should be strengthened:policy communication, road communication, trade communication, currency communication, people communication. That is to say, although the silk road is mainly driven by the economy, it should be a multi-dimensional road including political, economic, information, legal, cultural and other aspects.Along with the continuous development of globalization, the importance of culture in the international relations under the new pattern of the multi polarization world has got more and attention of scholars. The clash of civilizations theory, cultural soft power theory and other similar theories developed rapidly and were widely discussed. But the single linear, conflicting and colonial characteristics of these theories are worrying. And they obviously contradict the harmonious, religious tolerance and other time honored spiritual of Silk Road since ancient times. In this paper, they are referred to as unitary culture theories.This paper first carried on a thorough exploration and critique to the unitary culture theories, finding that the origin of these theories comes from the synchronic view of cultural morphology, thinking path dependence caused by western countries’plundering colonial history and the Christian core thought that emphasizing on the theory of the two elements of the dualistic opposition of subject and object. And more, this paper found that the source actually comes from subjective philosophy. This paper then discussed the process of transition in philosophy from subjectivity to inter-subjectivity and the development of the concept of the ritual view of communication.At last, this paper introduced cultural memory theory into the building of inter-culture relationship in Silk Road cultural communication at the practical level, hoping to provide some new thinking.
