Application Of Rubbing Technique In Visual Design Of Brand

Rubbing technique is a skill which has formed during the long life practice of Chinese ancestors, becoming more and more mature and perfect in the long historical process. It is closely connected and integrated with Chinese traditional culture, and has deeply imprinted on the growth and development of Chinese culture.However, there has little study done on regularity of rubbing technique, especially in excavation skills and theories in domestic at the present. There are many rubbing exquisite articles handed down in every dynasty, but there are no detailed treatises and research data on skills of the rubbing technique. Thus, as new Generation inheritors of Chinese culture, we should make across-the-broad summarization and hackle on origin, skill, tools, materials and artistic idea of Rubbing technique.In this paper, we analyzed theoretically on Chinese traditional rubbing technique, and combining it with contemporary Visual design of Brand. This thesis aims to make a try study on the attempt of desirable design or applied to other areas of the arts, which enormously broadens a new visual language, and changes the general ideas that the design or artistic creation only can be carried out by photographs and painting art in the past. And we tried to make our own attempt to explore a path for the future of Chinese localization design adapted to the times, to the world.
