Study And Instructional Design Of Specific Interrogative Rhetorical Question Based On TSCL

As a kind of special form, specific interrogative rhetorical question has been focused by the academic circles. Meanwhile, it’s a key problem for students to learn. Its function of refuting, desultory, astonishment and recommendation on pragmatics caused difficult on comprehending for foreign students. On the basis of analysis of the corpus, in this paper, we clarify the grammatical features of five-types specific interrogative rhetorical question combined with application situation, and put forward teaching design and suggestions specifically in order to enrich the research and practice of theory of specific interrogative rhetorical question and serve for the teaching.This study made several aspects as the following:1.Screen out most frequently used question word through the analysis of national corpus, and get the most frequently used types of specific interrogative rhetorical question by intervention.2.Describe them on grammar, semantic and pragmatic functions on the basis of quantitative statistics. Do Specific analysis on some questions that we found.3.Survey the situation that foreign students learned about this language points in a real classroom and in life. 4.Determine, classify and arrange the teaching content to form the final teaching design.The innovation of this article embodied in three aspects:1.Enrich the ontology of rhetorical research.2.Sort the pragmatic functions of specific interrogative rhetorical question.3.Use research-based learning method to design it. However, the design has not been tested in practice and its teaching effect remains to be verification.
