The Study Of Restricted Range Adverb Of “单、光、仅、只”’s Overlapped Form

In modern Chinese, we find the meaning of “单、光、仅、只”was a very basic similarity by discovering limit scope adverbs and scanning some domestic dictionaries. The use of “单、光、仅”is similar with“只”,all of them limit scope. Though the meaning of 4 words is similar, they also have difficult things. Previous researches describe distinguishes of them in detail. Moreover, we find other distinguishes. Does these 4 words can be reduplicated? If they can be reduplicated, will they combined with“不”? Thus we can make some researches.The first chapter is introduction. This part mainly focus on the present research situation.In the second chapter,we try to find the reason why“光光”can not use in position environment.On one thing,we can test whether each word can be redu plicated.On another thing,we observe the distribution frequency of them in position environment or negative environment.Next,we attempt to discover the meaning of these 4 words’reduplicated form.In the third chapter,we study the use of“不光光”“不单单”“不仅仅”“不只”in progressive complex sentence.First,we summary their usage in progressive complex sentence.Next,we would like to summary their textual function in progressivecomplex sentence.In the fourth chapter,we study the use of“不光光”“不单单”“不仅仅”“不只”in transition compound sentence.First,we summary their usage in transition compound sentence.Next,we would like to summary their textual function in transition compound sentence.At last,we try to reaserch the source and historical evolution of these 4 words and their reduplicated form.The last part has made a summary about the contents and research finding of this thesis.
