Research On Wu Qi’s Verdict On Selected Poems From Wen Xuan Of Six Dynasties

Based on skimming of text, Wu Qi’s Verdict on Selected Poems from Wen Xuan of Six Dynasties made in-depth research and discussion on the development, thoughts and artistic means. Due to Wu’s innovative perspectives which made up the losses of his predecessors, Verdict on Selected Poems from Wen Xuan of Six Dynasties was regarded as crucial material in research of Anthology. This dissertation is made up of five parts:the introduction made summary on the reason why the author chose Wu Qi’s Verdict on Selected Poems from Wen Xuan of Six Dynasties as research object. Chapter One mainly cards Wu Qi’s lifetime, works and communications and make conclusion on the general characteristic of Verdict on Selected Poems from Wen Xuan of Six Dynasties, thus making preparations for the discussion of the characteristics of this book. In Chapter Two, based on Wu Qi’s skimming, in comparison with former remarks, the author shall, from the perspectives of word explanation, main idea grasping and style differentiation, reveal Wu Qi’s characteristics in commenting in the aspect of contents and style. In Chapter Three, the author shall discuss Wu Qi’s comments on methodicalness, syntax and transformation from the perspective of versification, thus manifesting its application value in guiding beginners to write poems. In chapter Four, to present the influence of this book to the later generations, the author shall start with Huang Jie’s Notes on Six Kinds of Poems of Han Dynasty, Three Kingdoms and Six Dynasties, combine Huang’s nots in Peking University’s Poetry Studies Course called Three Reading Notes on Reading Poems which was recorded by Xiao Difei, to investigate Huang’s acceptance of Wu Qi’s Verdict on Selected Poems from Wen Xuan of Six Dynasties.Established in detailed sorting of Wu Qi’s Verdict on Selected Poems from Wen Xuan of Six Dynasties, this dissertation investigates on his remark characteristics in thoughts, contents and artistic means, reveals its status in the Study of Wen Xuan, so as to lift the width and depth in the research of Wen Xuan.
