| This paper is a general description of a sub-dialect of Na language based on field working. Structural analysis including three parts:Phonetic study mainly illustrates the basic system and its features:confrontation between voiceless and voiced consonants, simple finals and compound finals; besides, nasalization is fairly widespread in Na. Simple tone category (four tones) leads to complex tone modification. Word formation is barely similar with western dialects of Na, so does the grammar structure. |
