The Research On Perfective Aspect Of Jiaozuo Dialect

Aspect is an important grammatical category of Chinese studies, and has gradually become a hot issue in dialect research. Aspect concludes tow parts, this article mainly describes the perfective marker word "ba" and "le" of Jiaozuo dialect, and they were compared with each other, Mandarin and other dialects. Adhere to the principle of "highlighting feature and reflecting the whole picture", we focus on the features of the dialect marker "ba",at the same time, do not ignore the overview about the aspect system and perfective aspect of Jiaozuo dialect, in order to have more in-depth understanding on Jiaozuo dialect and provide material for the research of Chinese aspect and cross-dialect typology.This article is composed of four parts, except for the introduction and conclusion. The first part is the overview of the whole aspect system of Jiaozuo dialect, then briefly describes the seven marker of beginning aspect, persistence aspect, progressive aspect, perfective aspect, future aspect, realized aspect, experience aspect, and their major syntactic pattern. And find the perfective aspect is most distinctive. The second part is the core of this paper, describing different uses, identification, as well as for syntactic and sentence category distribution of perfective aspect marker "ba". And it detailedly discusses the grammatical orientation, determination of perfective aspect marker, grammatical meaning of marker "ba", as well as how to distinguish "ba", "wan" and "ba le". Also states some limitations when used it. Finally analyzes the event type selection of "ba". The third part describes and analyzes different usage and pronunciation of "le", and analyzes the perfective aspect marker "le" on syntactic distribution, sentence category selection, grammatical meaning and choice of the type of event. The fourth part takes perfective aspect marker "ba" and "le" of Jiaozuo dialect to the comparison of internal dialect, "Dialect-Mandarin" and "Cross-Dialect" respectively. Finally, it detailedly compares the unique perfective aspect marker "ba" in Jiaozuo dialect with aspect marker "ba" of other dialect, and briefly analyzes its nationwide distribution, according to the existing literature.
