Foreign scholars of communication strategy began in the 1970 s, gradually thriving in 1980 s.Communication strategy is the means that language learners ensure the smooth progress of communicative activities.It is one of the learning strategies with transient technical and emergency.For non-native language learners,the communication strategy is a high level and comprehensive language ability. For language learners of higher stage, communication strategies play an important role in the improvement of language level.Study of Chinese as a second language of communication strategies, with rarely and fragmented domestic related researches,most studies focused on students of Europe,America, east Asia and southeast Asia,Chinese learners between Middle East and the Xinjiang minority are very few.Social science statistical package(SPSS19.0) is used in this article, with the method of combining quantitative and qualitative.It is try to find the characteristics differences and the reason of different students at home and abroad.The similarity of the communication strategies in students of different environment is found in the study:Boys and girls in the native language environment using the frequency of each strategy were higher than in second language environment. The better the students’ oral English learning, the lower the frequency of use reduction strategy.The differences are as follows:From the perspective of gender, girls in the native language environment using the strategy of frequency is higher than boys especially in retrieval strategy.Using various strategies in second language environment of frequency is lower than boys especially in cooperation strategy. Boys are less influenced by environment than girls.From the perspective of oral competence,the higher the level of students, the lower the frequency of use for coorperation strategy and mother tongue or foreign language strategy.In second language environment,the higher the level of students, the lower the frequency of use reduction strategy and retrieval strategy.The significance of this study is analysising Chinese learners’ communicationstrategies of characteristics, differences and reasons in different environment.This is for the sake of targeted to the implementation of the communication strategy training,improve the level of the students’ communicative effectively and provide reference for Chinese teaching.
