| Shadow play originated in 200 BC, has been 2000 years of history, but with the accelerated pace of modern society and the impact of new forms of visual arts, the number of shadow play performances and the audience are drastically reduce, or even leave no successor. Tradition shadow culture is in danger of extinction, and urgent to protect our heritage.In recent years, more and more digital technology been used in traditional cultural protection. Among them, the use of digital motion capture animation technology, not only in the form of art, technical feasibility, production costs more suitable for traditional shadow play culture, but animation is more easily accepted by the younger generation. The present era, the use of motion capture technology, the new animation, movies, games, etc. has entered people’s lives, but the development of motion capture technology itself is not perfect, there is still a complex background, there is a shelter, environmental change, demanding venue, capturing accuracy such as lack of difficulties, people still need in-depth research in the field.The main directions of this research is through motion capture technology to produce shadow animation, digitized form reflects the traditional shadow play art. In this paper, video type body motion capture algorithm, the realization of the shadow skeleton and motion capture, enabling shadow animation production. The main problems are: to improve the accuracy of motion capture technology problems exist, solve the problem of post-motion capture animation and shadow generation software interface.In this paper, a method to extract human motion region box, and then capture the human joints motion information will be processed motion capture data into a sequence of parameters passed to the animation generation software, to achieve animation. Where the difficulty of capturing the largest skeleton, we use a combination of inter-frame difference method of edge detection of human motion detection region extraction algorithm to reduce unnecessary frame image, add body posture inclination information makes the model can be adapted to the human body and more attitude detection technology to solve this a puzzle. Experiments show that the technique of motion capture research and shadow culture protection technology has a certain practical value. |
