With the accelerating process of urbanization, surplus labor in rural areas drain, which means that more and more of left-behind children shall grow up in an environment lack of parental love and care. Some left-behind children grow up healthily and merrily, while more shall grow up lack of family affection and psychological counseling. Being shy of expression and introvert, more often than not left-behind children are labeled by the society, in which process their socialization functionality missing is inevitable. Taking socialization as the theory and value of social work intervention in left-behind children, this essay discusses and analyses the social work service project of Chunxiu village which aims to compensate left-behind children’s socialization functioning. Attaching theories to practice, the project classifies the operation of left-behind children’s socialization function missing to three aspects based on service orientation: compensating family affection, improving restrain system and enhancing their self-confidence, and finally builds up an integrated social work practice model for left-behind children’ socialization functionality compensation. With elaboration on preliminary research, project design, implementation, evaluation, reflection, etc. a series of the processes of the project, this essay aims to provide a reference for exploring social work intervention models for left-behind children with Guangxi characteristics. |
